As you're probably aware, in my new book, "Toward a More Perfect Union: From Scarcity to Abundance For All," this is the general theme: how we can create a more perfect union and a more positive future. I lay out a plan in my book; whether you've read my book or not, I would say the time is upon us to discuss the very relevant and important theme of creating a better world.

The news these days is grim: pandemic, war, gun violence, climate change, Roe v. Wade, the rise of illiberal democracy and religious fundamentalism, oligarchic and kleptocratic control of the levers of power, inflation and corporate profiteering, inequality of wealth and race, conspiracy theories run amok, and more--it feels like society and the world is unraveling.

And it also feels like nothing is being done about it.

We can't put our heads in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist; we also can't give in to apathy, negativity, cynicism, nihilism, and despair. 

We need to go from scarcity to abundance in the way we view the world. We need to see a better path forward, and work from that operating principle. 

And we need to tap into our creative potential and our potential to vision; the system is broken and it's time to create a new approach, one that centers on engendering a post-scarcity society and world.
